Center for Antimicrobial Treatment Optimization Rotterdam
The Center for Antimicrobial Treatment Optimization Rotterdam (CATOR) was founded in 2020 in the Erasmuc Medical Center in the Netherlands. It consist of a multidisciplinairy team of physicians, pharmacists, clinical pharmacologists, medical microbiologists, infectious disease specialists and researchers.
Our goal is optimizing the therapy with antibiotics in a world where this becomes more and more challenging, which we try to catalyze through the synergy of disciplines spanning (preclinical, fundamental) research to the physician at the bedside of the patient.
